General Information

In this program, it is aimed to train high-level electrical technicians who will work closely with electrical engineers in terms of their role in the industry.

In this program, students are given theoretical and practical training on basic electricity, electrical hand skills, measurement, electrical resources, structure and control of electrical machines, integrated project, the use of electrical energy, control systems, electrical electronic applications and computer use.

In laboratory studies, our students are given hands-on training on basic electrical concepts, introduction of electronic elements, structure of electrical machines, extraction of their characteristics, speed control and control of electric motors, measurement, programmable logic control.

Graduates gain the ability to work in all industrial establishments dealing with Industrial Electrical devices, maintenance and repairs, and in public and private institutions that use these devices.

Electrical Laboratory

The electrical program laboratory consists of electrical machinery, distribution installation, basic electrical and electronic and automatic control parts.

Within the scope of electrical machines experiments, the operating characteristics of electrical machines in our laboratory are determined, transformer and motor winding applications are made. Fault finding methods are applied in these engines.

Within the scope of electrical and electronic experiments, basic electrical laws, basic electronic elements and application circuits are introduced. With the printed circuit unit, applied printed circuit boarding processes are taught to the students.

The tests of elements such as fuse, thermal magnetic switch, current, voltage transformers, differential, relay are carried out within the scope of distribution installation tests.

In automatic control experiments, applications are made with classical control systems. In programmable logic controller applications, the software of command and control programs is taught.

Open-closed loop applications are made with motor speed control units.

Diploma and Title of Graduates

Students who graduate from this program are employed with the title of technician.

Qualification Awarded
Students who graduate from this programme are employed with the title of technicians.
Admission Requirements
Graduates of Electrical from Vocational and Technical Secondary Programmes are placed according to their Secondary Education Degree without examination. Besides ; graduates of other secondary education programmes who obtain the required grade from National university Entrance and Placement Exam (YGS1) will be accepted to the programme.
Higher Grade Transition
With exams DGS ,Graduate students can switch to Electrical Engineering ,Electrical and Electronic Engineering ,Electronics and Communication Engineering ,Physics, Aviation Electrical/Electronic Control Engineering ,Meteorological Engineering ,Aircraft Electrical/Electronic, Astronautically Engineering.
