Electronic Communications Technology
General Information
Our program aims to train analytic and qualified intermediate staff who have the knowledge and skills required by the business world in the field of electronic communication and required by vocational and technical education in international standards. It provides a modern education environment for the training of personnel suitable for this purpose. The graduates of this program will contribute to the knowledge and development activities in our country on electronic communication.
In the first year of the program, students will gain necessary knowledge and skills in electronic communication by taking courses on circuit analysis, analogy and digital electronics, computer programs related to the field, and then taking courses such as digital communication, telephone communication, fibre optic and satellite communication.
The program was established in 2009 within the body of Bingöl University. The program offers day and night education.
General Objectives of the Program
The electronics and automation sector is one of the top priority sectors in our country in terms of innovation and training needs. Electronic communication has been developing rapidly in recent years, from individual communication to collective communication, in industry and commercial areas, in the advertising sector and in the education sector. The widespread use of electronic communication with new technologies has increased the need for qualified workforce. The Electronic Communications Technology Program aims to train intermediate human power with high quality, talent and analytical thinking needed in electronic communication technologies in social life and business world.
Career Paths
Professional staff can easily find jobs in private and public institutions operating in the production, installation, maintenance and repair of communication equipment. The need for intermediate staff of state and private television channels, Türk Telekom, the Armed Forces, and private telecommunication companies, the number of which is increasing day by day, increases the chances of finding a job for people in this profession. Graduates can also establish their own businesses.
