General Information
Our Vocational High School aims to train staff who are suitable for the needs of society and organizations, especially the economy and industry of our country, equipped with computer technologies as a necessity of modern life, and who will meet the need for qualified intermediate staff who have knowledge and skills, and lead the social and cultural change of the region by scientific studies. It also has a mission to support the cultural and economic development of the city.
Title Acquired
Students graduating from this program are employed with the title of "Map Cadastre Technician" in public institutions and private sector organizations that need location information or maps directly or indirectly.
Proficiency Level
We put emphasis on raising individuals who can think critically, have practical skills, make self-evaluation, and have a say in their own learning process. A program is implemented for students to develop their skills in using professional software and measuring instruments.
Qualification Requirements and Regulatory Compliance
The national qualification system may include three levels of the Bologna process (or intermediate qualifications) (eg the first process, which is a short course). These levels allow universities to structure certain qualifications and organize them to progress through the qualification. Qualification requirements and compliance with regulations in Turkey are determined by the Higher Education Council.

Transition to Other Programs
Those who successfully complete the Map and Cadastre associate degree program can transfer vertically to the "Map Engineering" undergraduate program if they are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam conducted by Student Selection and Placement Centre.
Program Objectives
The aim of the Map and Cadastre Program is to train professionals in the field of map and cadastre for public institutions and organizations and the private sector. It is aimed to convey to our students the professional knowledge required for the production of maps of all sizes required by different application areas, especially engineering studies, and the application of engineering projects to the field, with theoretical and applied courses. The training program is prepared by keeping it up-to-date to meet the changing and renewed needs in parallel with technological developments.
Graduation Requirements
To graduate, students must have at least a 2.0 grade point average and complete the internship.
| Map and cadastral Program Bingol University of Technical Sciences Vocational School is located in one of the programs. There are three faculty members in the program. Program each year, including 40 day and 40 night 80 students are accepted. |
| All of the courses in the program (120 ECTS) have successfully completed at least 60 out of 100 who achieve grade point average, professional training to students who complete the associate's degree in the field of Survey and Cadastre are given. Given that the diploma degree, the scope of the European Qualifications Framework levels of education correspond to the fifth level. |
| Those who graduate from high school will be placed in the Map and Cadastre Associate Degree Program if the Higher Education Transition Exam conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) takes sufficient points from the related YGS-1 point type. |
| Vertical Jump Test results of students who complete the program with a map engineering, geodesy and photogrammetry engineering and geometrics engineering department can switch to. In addition, the Open University in economics and business departments can register directly. |
| Students who have successfully completed all the courses given in the program (total 120 ECTS) and have achieved at least 60 grand point average out of 100 and completed their professional internship will graduate. |

| In this program, at least 1 mid-term exam and 1 final exam is done for each lesson. Assignments may be given to assist the educational programs. The overall grade and pass/fail situation of the student is determined by adding together 40% of mid-term examination results and 60% of final exam result. |
