Mechatronics
Mechatronics Program
Mechatronics is an engineering philosophy that uses machinery, electronics, computer and software engineering for a common purpose. It appears in various industrial units such as assembly lines, industrial robot arms, smart greenhouses, biomedical devices, aircraft guidance and control systems. Students are trained in machinery, automation, robotics, industrial data collection and analysis, SCADA, PLC, Electric motors and drivers.
It has become a necessity to use mechanical, electrical and electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic and computer technologies together. As a result, Mechatronics has emerged as a new discipline. Mechatronics covers a wide area from home technologies to advanced medical devices, from computer-controlled benches to robots. It aims to train Mechatronics technicians who will follow and apply technological and scientific developments in the specified fields. The student quota of Mechatronics Program is 40.
